Dr Khehlelezi Creating Job Opportunities To Empower KZN Youth

Traditional Pharmacist and business man Dr Khehlelezi says he is all about creating jobs this year.

“Our Youth spent a lot of time at home for the past two years and many even lost their jobs, the least we could do as local entrepreneurs is to create job opportunities” – Dr Khehlelezi.

Mzo Lifestyle, a local Shisanyama and events spot in North KZN started operating on the 7th of December and had their launch on the 17th  but has employed over 20 individuals.

We have 8 workers in our Kitchen, 6 hair stylists at the Salon, Waiters / barmen 7, 4 General workers, Security staff of 3 and 3 Managers  giving us a total of Total 31 employees.

“On the 26th Feb Mzo Lifestyle has collaborated with Fameus in hosting the Durban Wine Festival. In preparation for our event we invited young people from all over eThekwini to  bring their resumes to the Lifestyle and stand a chance to join our team for this prestigious event.

We were looking for  candidates to fill the waiter, runner and cleaning positions; the youngsters showed up in numbers.

Our day started and we saw approximately 150 hopeful and experienced youngsters. At the end of all our interview sessions we saw 80 youngsters getting the opportunity to join our team.

We are very pleased with our selection and are now preparing for a world class showcase” says Cleo Dlamini, General Manager.

Dr Khehlelezi has also announced that he will be expanding his businesses to Johannesburg and in no time will empower more Black communities across South Africa.
