InandaFM Management and its all staff is shattered by the news of the departed gospel music legend, Sfiso Ncwane and expressing its condolences to Ncwane Family, Friends and Fans. No words or actions that can match the pain and hurt caused by shocking and devastating news, that not only affected the station’s listeners but continent and beyond.
Ncwane, famously known as Fingers, has been a constant inspiration to our listeners with his hit songs. As the community radio station that believes in the development of the community socially and spiritually, we are saddened by such a loss.
Sfiso has become a regular visitor of the station since its inception, coming for interviews promoting his music, projects and events. He was one of the friends and fans of the station, he knew he is at home at InandaFM. He has proven to be most inspirational musician to the young and the old who wanted to pursue their talents and skills in creative art, with less education.
He has risen from humble beginnings to what he was before his death. He has been loved by many, not only in his province KZN and his country but in Africa and abroad. His music accommodated everyone believers and non-believers. His versatility in music played an instrumental role towards unity among African fighting xenophobia.
“As InandaFM, we believe that God has taken him because he has fulfilled his role and purpose, it is now in our hands to continue with the legacy he has built for the gospel music industry. He may have left and maybe be even forgotten, but his music will live longer as it will continue to be part of our playlist” says Thandeka Msani, Inanda FM Station Manager.
To the Family, our hearts are saddened by your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
To the Gospel Musicians, the show goes on
To the listeners of Inanda FM, keep listening to his music for your own healing
To the Fans, keep buying and playing his music!
May your soul Rest In Peace!
