The Phumlani Dube Foundation in partnership with The Zunguness will host a motivational weekend workshop for teachers of Umlazi’s Vukuzakhe High School at The Zunguness (luxury wedding & conference venue) in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands from 27-28 January. The workshop called “Making Vukuzakhe Great Again” will be attended by all 35 teachers of Vukuzakhe.

Chartered accountant and political analyst Khaya Sithole has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker. The workshop is the brainchild of prominent businessman Sandile Zungu and entrepreneur/former media personality Phumlani Dube who are both former pupils of Vukuzakhe High School.

The two have decided to host this function to congratulate the principal and the teachers on the improvement in the school’s matric pass rate for 2017 and to encourage them to achieve even more successes this year. The Vukuzakhe matric class of 2017 achieved a 79% pass rate – up from 68% in the previous year. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend and to cover this event.
