Inanda 88.4 FM is thrilled to announce the return of two personalities Simon Thipa who left in 2010 to join Gagasi FM & Thabo Mzimela who left the station to join Vuma FM in 2012.
The station has been making many changes and showing growth in all levels, from their buzzing social media pages to their forever packed activations and outside broadcasts. Returning of these two radio veterans is no surprise to KZN judging from Inanda 88.4 FM’s work ethic, quality and professionalism
“I am happy to be back at Inanda 88.4 FM. As we all know that Today’s Best Radio groomed me to be the person I am today. I am well respected in the province when it comes to News because of this radio station. It is amazing that even the time I was away I would to listen to Inanda 88.4 FM just because of its quality. I am proud to be back home and as you know the saying ‘ibuyile indodana yolahleko’. On my new show ‘The Morning ShakeUp’ I am not sorry to say that KZN will for the first time enjoy to be respected from the beginning to the end of the show, I am saying this because we want to talk to them directly. They will relate easily with our features and listen to them. All in all, I am here to learn. Being in the industry for quiet sometime does not mean I know everything, I will learn from my colleagues, management and also our listeners” says Mzimela, the new host ofThe Morning ShakeUp Saturdays and Sundays.
When asked how he feels about being part of the Inanda 88.4 FM family again, this is what Simon had to say:
“Firstly, it was a very fulfilling decision to rejoin Inanda 88.4 Fm. The main reason is simply that since inception, the station has grown to become a formidable entity on the country’s airwaves landscape. I resolve to enhance the program by adding pace, in formativeness and keep it open and interactive for the listeners to enjoy”
Simon will be doing the Current Affairs Show, Izwe Nezalo every Friday 6-7pm.
